David Caples
, innkeeper, consultant and inn sales broker, is the workshop leader. David has a Master's Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. He restored and opened a five-room bed and breakfast and developed Amelia Island Lodging Systems, a resort management company. He and his wife, Susan, are the former owners of the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, an award-winning 25-room inn on Amelia Island, FL.
Helen Cook
, is an experienced innkeeper, lodging industry consultant and originator of the website
BedandBreakfastForSale.com
. She
is a small business owner experienced in sales and marketing, human resources, product development and operations.
Seminar Details and Registration
The New Smyrna seminar includes a full day of instruction, course materials, current industry studies and information, informal consulting throughout the day, informative and lively round table discussions over lunch and a Certificate of Achievement on successful completion of the seminar.
Accommodations
for Friday and Saturday nights are available at the
Night Swan Intracoastal B&B
.
Food and beverage include a welcome social hour on Friday night, breakfast, lunch and social hour on Saturday, snacks and breakfast before departure on Sunday.
